EXECUTIVE PROTECTION HANDGUN
Certified by ASIS International, this course focuses on critical defensive shooting concepts, tactics, core competencies, and close-quarters engagements for armed agents working within contemporary corporate and UHNW environments. Participants will receive dynamic hands-on coaching and individualized instruction from WSCJTC Master Firearms Instructor and U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame member Gary Drake.
PURPOSE
This intensive 1-day course focuses on core-competencies essential for effective performance as an armed protection agent. Training and practical exercises emphasize speed, accuracy, technique, and tactics to equip executive protection professionals with critical skills necessary to ensure the safety and security of principals, bystanders, and agents themselves in high-stress active-threat scenarios.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Allied Universal® is dedicated to the improvement and professionalization of the executive protection industry. This course is open to private security, military, and law enforcement professionals. Allied Universal encourages qualified individuals of all backgrounds to apply.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Semi-automatic pistol (Sub-compacts are discouraged as it will be difficult to keep up with the course of fire)
- Minimum three (3) magazines (More are recommended if you carry a sub-compact)
- Sturdy belt
- Belt-mounted IWB or OWB Kydex pistol holster (NOTE: SERPA, shoulder, and cross-draw holsters are prohibited.)
- Belt-mounted magazine pouch
- Cover garment to practice drawing from concealed
- Eye protection
- Ear protection
- Firearm cleaning kit
- Water, snacks, lunch
- Hat
- Sunscreen
GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
· Attendees must be in good physical condition and should consult a doctor with any questions regarding their ability to safely participate in defensive tactics training.
· Pre-existing injuries should be disclosed prior to participation to reduce likelihood of reinjury.
· Attendees who are not employed by Allied Universal must sign a liability release prior to participating in this training.
TRAINING HOURS
This is an intensive 1-day, 8-hour course. Training typically runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
REGISTRATION
Open-Enrollment Registration: Tuition is $360.00. Please note that your seat will not be reserved until tuition is received. Tuition is refundable up to 30 days prior to training. Open-enrollment participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and personal insurance (if desired).
EPS Registration: Employees of Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services who have been approved to attend this training through their supervision may do so tuition-free.
